AES Opened Today - What have We Learned

MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Yes everything is important and we are working at making this work.

WHAT WE LEARNED LAST NIGHT

Some credit card companies and banks are faster than others.  Some people have a harder time than others getting payment through.  Some methods of payment through PayPal and Authorize.net are slower than others.  Some don’t work very well at all.  If you had trouble with your card last night, you may want to re-think the card you use tomorrow night.

WHAT WE WILL DO.

Going forward:  Teams who are within the division limit, and are indicated as paid will be accepted immediately.   Teams that are within the division limit and indicated as not paid will have until 6:00 am to make payment.  At 6:00 am we will begin to accept the next team in order by time stamp and indicated as paid.  The intent is to allow all payment methods to go through.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO.

Call your Credit Card Company or bank and let them know you will be making multiple payments.  This should help you avoid an automatic fraud lockout.  Assure that you know the full correct address associated with the card you are using.

Do not waste time being the 16th team to enter a 10-team tournament you are most likely not getting in.  Move on to another date.

Note: All of the tournaments that opened last night are either full or close to full, and teams have been accepted with updates being done as teams either pay, or continue to enter.  Some are overbooked and your team’s status may be pending.  It is most likely you will not be accepted into those events.
