News from GEVA Education and Development

We hope this message finds you safe.  In the wake of Hurricane Sandy and the myriad of problems still plaguing the region, GEVA is temporarily adjusting the Coaching Education Policy with regard to mandatory IMPACT recertification.

Effective immediately any coach who’s certification expired in 2011, or 2012, or will expire in 2013, is automatically extended until October 31, 2013.

Please understand that this does not supersede the requirement to have USAV IMPACT certification in order to be coaching in any capacity in GEVA.  As circumstances allow we expect that folks will still pursue opportunities to continue your coaching education, and GEVA will continue to record and update your renewals.

The renewal requirement is not difficult to meet, and is intentionally broad in scope.

Renewals are granted on 1, 2, 3, or 4, year blocks.
