Juniors: Coaches Home

Welcome back coaches as we start preparing for the upcoming 2006-07 club volleyball season! The first IMPACT Certification and IMPACT Renewal classes have been scheduled. See the IMPACT Registration page to sign up online!

Of prime importance to all coaches is to ensure that you are eligible to work with your junior players before the season begins. To be eligible to coach in the GEVA region, you must have completed the following three (3) requirements:

Have a valid USA Volleyball registration
Completed a background screening during the current or prior season
Have a valid coaches training certification, this includes:
- Completed an IMPACT class, or qualifying renewal education, within the last 3 years.
- Completed CAP certification, or qualifying renewal, within the last 4 years.

The online registration system that we are using this year makes checking your qualications very easy to do when you register. If you select to be a coach, the system will alert you to the requirement for a background screen or education/training.

Remember, all coaches must have passed the requirements above before they can work pre-season camps and clinics or participate in club tryouts. The link on the left labeled "Coaches Status" is a quick way for coaches who were eligible in 2006 to verify if their training and education requirements are up to date and to tell if they will need to complete a background screen before coaching this season.
