To All GEVA Boys Teams:

In order that we can determine the number of boys teams planning to participate in the 2011 GEVA Boys Regional Championship scheduled for Sunday February 27, 2011 at Queens College, we are setting a deadline for tournament entries of Friday February 4, 2011. We have secured and paid for the entire facility at Queens (9 courts) for that day and we need to determine how many courts we will need for the Boys Regionals.

You need to submit your tournament entry to George Fetz as per the instructions on the GEVA web site. In addition to the tournament entry and check made out to GEVA for $140, you need to include your USA Volleyball web point printed roster. It would be convenient for George if you would e-mail him your intent for team entry ASAP so that he can have an idea immediately as to the number of teams planning to play. We plan to host championships in the 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 if we have enough team enter in each of those age groups.

Please also be advised that it has been suggested and recommended by the GEVA Executive Board that the GEVA refund program for the USA Boys National tournament in Minnesota this summer be limited to only those teams that have participated in the 2011 GEVA Boys Regional Championship or those teams that have received qualifier bid to the Minnesota tournament.

We are hopeful to have a large successful 2011 GEVA Boys Regional Championship Sunday February 27 and that we have all our teams participate.
