How to get the most out of GEVA.ORG

In general, for the best experience while visiting http://geva.org, please make sure that your browser has been updated to the latest release. This site uses several web technologies, including:

JavaScript: for generating the drop down menues and other miscellaneous functions throughout the site.
Cascading Style Sheets: generally, CSS v2+ is needed for the formatting to display correctly
On the host server, we use PHP and MySQL to generate much of the active content

The site is divided into functional areas, with the main sections being those devoted to:

General Info: This section contains information regarding the Garden Empire Volleyball Association, our structure, rules and regulations, information and directions to playing sites, links to help files and the member forums, and anything else that may not fit one of the more specific categories.
Registration: This is used to enter the online registration system for members, teams, and clubs.
Juniors: Everything about Junior Olympic Volleyball programs with separate sections for Boys and Girls.
Adults: Everything from forming teams to playing in tournaments for Adult players
Officials: An area for Referees and Score Keepers, including certification, clinics, and schedules.
Forms: All forms used througout the site are kept here for easy access.

Navigation througout the site is provided primarily via the drop down menu near the top of the page. Move your mouse over one of the main topics and a drop down list of subtopics will appear. Some subtopics also have further drop down lists. You can jump to any particular page by using the drop down menu system and clicking on the exact page desired; or you can go to a major section by just clicking on the top level menu item. For each major section (such as General Info, Adults, or Juniors), a detailed menu of selections will show in the left hand side of the web page that generally duplicates the selections in the drop down menu.
