The beach volleyball courts in Central Park are located in the middle of the park next to Sheep Meadow at approximately 69th Street.
From the East Side, enter the Park at 67th Street and follow the path straight ahead and under the overpass. On the other side, keep walking in the same direction and you will hit The Mall. The courts are between The Mall and Sheep Meadow.
From the West Side, enter the Park at Tavern on the Green, and walk through or around Sheep Meadow. The courts are directly on the other side of the meadow.
Some more general information:
- Players should bring water bottles, shorts and tshirts, and a towel.
- Players do not have to currently be registered with an indoor club team, but they will be required to register with GEVA/USA Volleyball with a "Summer Membership" for a one time fee of $25. This membership will be good for the whole summer.
- Players don't have to preregister.
- The clinic is open to boys and girls age 10 - 18. Prior volleyball experience is preferred, but not required.
