Hope your summer is going well!

Just to give you some quick background, I applied to USA Volleyball's "At Your Camp HP Program"... and low and behold they actually chose us.  So USA volleyball is sending HP trained coaches to Ward Melville HS next week Aug. 9-12 to teach our athletes using the same techniques and methodology that is used to train our USA national teams.  The bad news... unfortunately, the camp is closed out to anymore athletes - we reached the 45 player maximum keeping it exclusive to our own United and Patriot players in about 48 hours of acceptance into the program.

 BUT the good news to YOU is the HP clinicians are also conducting a FREE COACHES CLINIC!!! We are so excited about this amazing learning opportunity. It is a stated goal and part of the mission of USA volleyball is to go around the country and teach good technique and practice to interested volleyball coaches. A chance to really get updated on the latest techniques for teaching our sport - just look at the recent success of the USA in the past Olympics... Oh, and did I mention it's FREE?!?!?!

 The assigned coaches are truly an impressive group:

Daryl Tamashiro, OAHU VOLLYEBALL CLUB
Jolie Ward, Princeton, Women's Coach
Andrew Bennett, The College of New Jersey, Mens Coach

 California, Hawaii, Princeton!!! It's really going to be a great volleyball experience and I want to share this opportunity with as many interested people as possible. The coaches clinic will be at Ward Melville HS, 380 Old Town Rd, East Setauket on Tuesday August 10th from 6-8PM... it's FREE! The HP coaches cadre on hand will be doing on court demonstrations, a classroom style presentation and answering any and all of your nagging questions about coaching the sport of volleyball. Please do your best to try to attend! It can only serve to make us all better at our craft! Plus... it's FREE! Please pass this to whomever you think might benefit. Club coaches, JRHS coaches, Boy's coaches, Officials, all interested parties! 

 All I ask is a simple reply email RSVP (see address below) so that we can accommodate the number of attendees.
