  • Tryouts

Sandy has forced many clubs to reschedule tryouts.  Since I will be without power for another 4-5 days and have limited access to the phone and internet I will not be able to update any tryout info. Please contact each club or check out out their websites for up to date info. Please continue to check the GEVA website for any updates as I will post when I can find a hotspot.

    Thank you

  • Junior Girls' Tournaments are Filling Quickly

The GEVA hosted junior girls' tournaments are filling quickly.  If you haven't yet entered (via Advanced Event Systems) and paid, you should do so ASAP or risk not getting into the tournaments of your choice.  While some events have already filled and others are near capacity, there are still plenty of tournaments with space available, on a first paid basis.

  • AES (Junior Girls) Tournament Registration is OPEN

Tournament registration for GEVA sanctioned Junior Girls' tournaments is now open. All tournament registrations will be handled through Advanced Event Systems, and all tournaments (after the New Year's Classic) will require that you have at least 6 players and a coach verified and on the roster. Only GEVA teams will be accepted for the first 7 days, and then teams from all regions may be accepted.

Most tournaments will accept entries on a first come - first served, PAID basis. All of the GEVA hosted events, as well as some club hosted events, will accept online payments using Google Checkout. To facilitate easy searching of GEVA sanctioned events, all of our tournaments are listed as being in the state of New Jersey - even though they are actually located through-out our region.

  • Roster Required for KRVA Tournaments

KRVA has asked GEVA teams to provide a verifiable roster to enter tournaments in their region.

If a team wishes to enter a tournament in the KRVA region, you must print a blank "Tournament Entry Form" from the "Team Reports" item on the "Team Mgt" menu in the registration system.  Note that, by default, only the Club Director has access to this; but, they may grant access rights to any adult on the team roster.

To print the correct form, do the following:

    1. Login to the "Clubs and Teams" area of the registration system.
    2. If you have access to more than one club, "Add or Select Current Club" under the "Club Mgt" heading.
    3. If you have access to more than one team, "Add or Select Current Team" under the "Team Mgt" heading.
    4. Click on "Team Reports" under the "Team Mgt" heading.
    5. Select "Tournament Entry Form".
    6. Print the PDF that is displayed (Note, this required Adobe Acrobat Reader).
Please be aware that this is the ONLY form that they will accept.  If you show up with anything else, including the "Team Roster" that you print from the same area, your team will be denied the right to participate in the KRVA sanctioned event!
  • Schedule for Open #1, 15s & 16s

I apologize that the schedule hasn't been posted, but we lost some courts over the weekend and I'm now scrambling trying to get enough courts for everyone to play.  As it stands right now, if I don't find additional courts, 19 teams will get dropped from Sundays tournament.  Please be patient and DO NOT CALL ME asking for the schedule.  I promise, it will be posted as soon as I get enough courts or determine that we won't ever get them!

  • 2009 Adult National Entry Guidelines

    2009 Adult National Entry Guidelines

The 2009 Adult National Championships will be held in Minneapolis at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  If you have never been, talk to teams and players that have.  They will tell you that it is a great experience.  It takes planning and commitment to attend.  The entry deadline is early.  Failure to meet this deadline would mean that your entry be put on a wait list. (There is a good chance that entries could be limited in the Club divisions [AA, A, BB, B].)  The deadline is based upon the need for your application to be processed in the GEVA office and forwarded to the National office.  Very Important – your club entry must be processed by GEVA and then forwarded to the National office.
