The following procedures and rules apply to the GEVA reverse co-ed tournaments.

  • Tournament entriess: click here
    
    • Register for the tournament on-line. Payment is made on-line if GEVA is hosting the tournament.
  • Tournament fee: $100.00 for co-ed tournaments through December 31
  • Eligible players: Registered GEVA/USAV players and registered College players
  • Officials: Teams will provide the R1, R2, scorekeeper, libero tracker, and two (2) lines persons
  • Scoring: Regular USAV scoresheets will be used
  • Balls: Balls will be provided by the teams
• Rules
  • Net height: 7’4-1/8
  • Teams: Consist of three (3) [or more] female players and three (3) [or more] male players.
    • All players are registered with GEVA/USAV or college
  • Uniforms: A unique number must be used. When using a Libero their shirt should be in contrast to all other players.
  • Liberos: Libero replacement may only replace a player of the same gender.
  • Using the Reverse Co-Ed Playrules in the USAV Domestic Competition Regulations, such as those rules listed below and the one exception listed below
    • Rule 2.1: Players must be in alternating positions (male, female) for the rotation
    • Rule 2.2: When more then one contact is made, one of the contacts must be made by a female player
    • Rule 2.4.2 No male player may participate in a block Team
    • NOTE: Rule 2.5 will not be in effect. Male players may attack the ball from behind the attack line.
