Welcome to the 2011-12 Adult Volleyball Season!

It is time to get ready for the upcoming Adult GEVA season. Keep checking the GEVA website for updates.There are several important things to keep in mind for this season and there are several new things to note.

For this season there is no team fee. The team fee is now included in the individual member registration fee. All players must be registered individually with USA Volleyball (USAV) on the Webpoint system before they can be added to a team roster. If a player does not register with USAV on Webpoint, that player can fill a registration form and submit that form to GEVA. However, there is an additional $25.00 fee if the Webpoint system is not used.

To create a team roster, use the following procedures.

1. E-mail the following information to the GEVA Adult Registrar ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ). This information is required seven (7) days prior to a tournament you have registered for.
   1. The name of your team
   2. The level of your team (A, BB, B)
   3. The name of the team representative
   4. The names and USAV membership numbers of all of the players who will members of this team
      1. Six (6) or more players are required to form a team
      2. All of these players must be registered with USAV/GEVA
2. After your team roster has been received by the GEVA Adult Registrar and processed, the team roster will be available on the USAV Webpoint system. Once this roster is available on Webpoint, a copy of this roster must be brought to every tournament. NOTE: If your team roster is not yet available on Webpoint, you must a copy of the team registration from and two (2) completed roster forms along with a copy of the individual membership registration form (or membership card) for each player.
   1. The team registration and team roster forms are on the GEVA website under Forms.

The team roster can be updated to add additional players. This can be done only by the team representative.

Note the following if you plan on borrowing players from other teams:

• Players that will be borrowed MUST already be registered with another team. A copy of that team roster must be brought to the tournament where the borrowed player will be used
  • As the borrowed player is already on another team roster, that player must not be added to your team roster
• NOTE: If the borrowed player is NOT already on another team roster, that player MUST be added to your roster; all players MUST be on a team roster before they can play. The “borrowed” player can be moved to another team using the “Changing Teams” procedures outlined in the Adult Player Handbook.
