Benefits of a USA Volleyball Membership

For those who have been playing in USA Volleyball (USAV) events over the years, you have benefited from the most obvious item; that is, being able to play in USAV events.  Not to take anything away from any other organization/event/league/etc. you might be involved with, we would like to remind you of some of the things that comes with your membership.

The full list of benefits is available at the link below from USAV. We wanted to point out two very important benefits.

  • Secondary sports accident for those with primary insurance and primary sports accident insurance (with $1,000 deductible) for those registrants without health insurance during USAV sanctioned events
  • General liability insurance - covering all USAV sanctioned activities
  • USAV rule book
  • Participation in USA Volleyball Open National Championships

NEW RULES!!!! 2015-16 Season

Are you ready for the 2015-16 season?  As usual, there are some new (or changed) rules to consider.  The major change has to do with contacting the net.  Basically, contacting the net (the ENTIRE net) is a fault unless you are NOT in the action of playing the ball.
